Most engagement sessions involve a beautiful sunset, a little laughter, and a lot of love.

This one also involved donkeys. 🫏🤍

When Kelly and Taylor suggested incorporating these curious four-legged friends into their engagement session, I knew it was going to be a good time. What I didn’t expect was how perfectly it reflected who they are easygoing, joyful, and completely themselves.

Between golden hour light, a few donkey interruptions, and plenty of laughs, this session felt less like posing for photos and more like spending an evening with two people who genuinely enjoy being together.

And honestly? The donkeys may have stolen a little bit of the spotlight.

anyone else go through phases where you’re either on here all the time or not at all?

I shot my first wedding of the season a couple weeks ago, birthday is this weekend, and then we’re right back into back to back wedding days… and honestly? I’m so ready for it ✨

Winds in the east, mist coming in… like something is brewing and about to begin…
And just like that, wedding season returns. 🤍
The sun is stretching out a little longer, Ohio is trying its best, and I can finally see the end of winter coats.
This weekend, we begin again. ✨
Back to golden light, quiet in-between moments, and love stories that feel like they belong in a storybook.

And this one? Still living rent free in my mind… complete with horses who absolutely understood the assignment.

Forever chasing golden hour ✨

I truly cannot believe it’s already February. Where did January even go?

I tend to go a little quieter here during my off season while I’m working behind the scenes, resetting, and waiting for warmer days because this cold is not it.

That said… I’m feeling extra grateful lately. I have a few absolutely gorgeous weddings lined up for this year and next, and I’m so excited to share more as the season unfolds.

And just for those planning ahead, my 2026 and 2027 books are officially open 🤍

Some see snow and immediately hide indoors, only leaving the house if absolutely necessary.
Me? Yeah… no. I’m grabbing my gear bags, pulling on boots, and heading straight out the door. I love the snow. Not necessarily the cold that comes with it but any chance to have families cozy up in a gorgeous winter wonderland session? I’m all in. ❄️✨

I’ll throw on every layer humanly possible to make sure your family gets the most magical snowy photos. I truly love every season Ohio gives us, but a fresh winter snowfall paired with a gorgeous family session has me happily rocking insulated leggings and four shirts for the perfect shot.
