I got to do something very special.

I haven't seen my friend Brittany for years. We first met in high school, where I watched her contagious bubbly energy fill up any room she walked into. After many many years apart, I got the chance to see her again in her new stage of life - as a first time mom to little Cameron. We simply went for a walk and enjoyed the creek, as us West Virginians are prone to do. It was a truly special day and I look forward to watching her and Cameron's journey.

Hoping everyone enjoyed their time with family on Easter! Nothing quite like flowers blooming, a crisp sunny day, and the kiddos absolutely vibrating with excitement to find those eggs!

My lovely hairdresser, Allison, had me spend that time with her and her family last year, and I captured so many wonderful photos of her beautiful family. Feeling lucky!

The see and capture the bond between a person and their horse is such a pure experience. Thank you to Emma and Whistle for being up for a photoshoot and now we will always have a moment frozen in time of that connection.

Whistle was taken from this earth too soon and won't be forgotten. I will always remember Emma on Whistle and myself on my first ride on Aspen in an arena all to ourselves one late afternoon last year. We rode, we laughed, I fumbled across jumps while Emma and Whistle glided over like two peas in a pod totally in sync.
