✨My name is Danica Jones (Barrois) I am a wife, step mama, and photographer. I started out playing with a camera at a young age, I always loved capturing memories. As I’m growing older and older I’m realizing pictures will be the only thing left in the end. I’ve watched l
oved ones pass and I’ve always wished I had a million more pictures of them.✨
✨I am living my life married to my best friend. I am a “stay at home step momma” & I’m so thankful that my husband has given me the opportunity to do what I love. I am truly blessed✨
✨My passion is to take pictures, whether it be outdoors or indoors. I like to capture the MOMENT.✨
✨For those of you that know me, YES this is “Morning Star Photography” I’ve decided to change my business name. I chose morning Star at a younger age, when I was just starting with my camera and I feel like I needed something new, something more “ME”. Instead of morning Star I have changed the name to Southern Roots. I did this because of course, it has a ring to it, and also because I am from the most southern part of Louisiana. Eventually I will go more into depth about that, but for now, I will leave it as that.✨
