15 Years Ago Today (1/27/2011) – First Paid Photoshoot 📸 This was the moment I knew my work had reached a level where I could put a price on it. I took my friend Liliana’s senior photos and had actually been hired to do it! ✨

I remember what a fun day this was creating with my friend, how nervous I was, and how I felt free to try different locations and angles as the sun went down. ❤️

There was so much I hadn’t learned yet, but I had the knack and the vision. ⚡️ The best part was, she loved what we created together. The last image ended up in the yearbook!

The people who invested me when I first started by business deserve a special shout-out:

🔷 My husband was my first and biggest cheerleader in telling me photography could be a career and not just a hobby or a side hustle, and he maintained that belief the whole time.

🔷 My award-winning photojournalist dad is who gave me a love for photography and who encouraged me to make this into a business.

🔷 My first clients: the Gonzalez/Wisdom Family, the Scott Family, the Powell Family, and the Parham Family.

Y’all saw the vision when many others said, “You’d better get something to fall back on.” 😂

What a day capturing memories at the 4th Annual Clay Shoot for the Bulverde Spring Branch Area Chamber of Commerce! 🎯 Grateful the rain stopped just in time for 21 teams to compete at Good Bull Ranch 👍 for the honor of 1st place. We all know who was the best shot (CMW General Contractors, congrats!), but MY honorable mention goes to the veteran’s team sponsored by Frost for having the most FUN. Also, thank you Bulverde Hills Dental for bringing out your youth teams! Loved getting to see these kids' skills! Can't wait for next year! Thank you, Chamber, for the opportunity to document this event!

(2/2) I believe that photography is not just documenting an event, but saying something with your photos. What I want to show above is what a deep connection with the Lord LOOKS and FEELS like.

These woman at this retreat experienced joy, freedom, peace, restoration, and unconditional love. The most meaningful photos are not of a beautiful sunrise, but a woman in front of a beautiful sunrise, crying gentle tears as she is blasted with heaven on earth, with what her soul is hungry for. And what to say is, dear viewer, you can experience God like that, too.

That’s why I was in tears while I was taking so many of these photos and videos. You can’t get that close to the Fire and not feel the Heat.

Thank you, , for answering the call on your life to start , a ministry for inviting woman to come further up and further in their relationships with the Father, to be filled and refilled with the Spirit, to rest in His arms and know that He is the answer.

What an honor to be invited into such an intimate space to capture these women’s deep connection with God.
This isn’t the first time I’ve witnessed the laughter, the eyes welling up with tears, the hands outstretched in freedom, but to SHOW in photos and video what it FEELS LIKE to experience freedom, love, joy, and peace with your Creator?

That not only filled my cup, but also filled my eyes with tears most of the time I was behind the camera.
