Diwali, or Festival of Lights, is the most important date on the Hindu calendar, and is celebrated by millions of people all over the world. I find it beautiful and fascinating, just like all the kids and adults alike.

I absolutely loved working on this lifestyle photoshoot for Kulture Khazana, highlighting a collection of Diwali gifts. The best part of it is when you get to capture real moments of connection and happiness (we did not use actors). The kids were mesmerized by the peacock Puja Thali (plate), and had a great time assembling the Rangoli puzzle! You can find everything here: https://kulturekhazana.com

It’s always refreshing to meet people that are passionate for what they do. Nancy’s love for yoga is so undeniable!

I loved being part of this special project with Villa Maria College! The super talented student LaCherie Reid interviewed Syrian immigrant Ayla Abiad at the International Institute of Buffalo (http://www.iibuff.org). A couple of weeks ago Leadership Buffalo hosted it's biggest fundraising event, the Values Awards Luncheon. I've had the honor to be the official photographer for the day, and register many special moments. One of them was Althea Luehrsen, LB's CEO, receiving from the hands of Byron Brown, Buffalo's Mayor, a certificate declaring Leadership Buffalo Day official. Around 700 guests and LB's alumni attended the luncheon that honored 5 outstanding community leaders. Please check this quick slideshow to learn more. You may even recognize some of the attendees!
