Courtney is a young artist, a very talented one at that, so we get along & click well. Hanging out with her for her senior session was so much fun. I met Courtney 7-ish years ago when I started working at the bank with her mother, and my mother has taught Courtney the past 4 years in the art room at Buffalo High, so we share our Momma’s every day with the other.

This evening is Buffalo’s commencement ceremony & this talented gal is receiving her well earned diploma. I am excited to see how her art grows as she heads to study art & business at UC in the fall! Congratulations Courtney & the graduating class at BHS!

My senior year of high school was 14 years ago (what?!). That year I spent some time babysitting this guy and his younger sister. It blows my mind he is crossing that stage this evening that I did 14 years ago. Congratulations Alex & all of the Winfield High School class of 2018!

This exact spot will look like this sooner than soon & I'd love to have YOU standing in it!

Fall is my favorite, so I'm offering a discount on my Short & Sweet "mini" Session!

Limited spots with evening only shoots as I'll be at the bank most days, and we will hit that sweet golden light just right.

Message me if you're interested! I will get back to you as soon as possible, pinky-swear.

I met Patrick at least 12 years ago (how is that so already?!) in one of my first college photography classes on the 6th floor of Smith Hall at Marshall University.

I felt very honored when he contacted me last year telling me he had proposed to Heather & she let him be in charge of choosing the photographer to document their big day, and he thought of me first (maybe he was just being nice, but I felt honored none-the-less).

I met up with Patrick, Heather, & daughter Ellie last fall in Ritter for engagement photos and absolutely had a blast with them. Ellie kept me laughing that day.

Fast forward to early last month & we met in Ritter once again for their wedding day. The ceremony was beautiful and full of love. Guess what Ellie did that day? She kept me crying, but in the most heartwarming way.

Congratulations to Heather, Patrick, & Ellie. Here are just a few sneaks of your day. Thank you for letting me be a part of it!

I won't try to embarrass all people I take photographs of, but if you're family, you are fair game.

From the first hour or even half hour following his birth, Nyle & his momma have let me take photos of him. We're going 8 years strong on the birthday(-ish) sessions. Love ya, Toad!

Tomorrow is THE DAY for these fine folks! Their wedding day is a day I've been looking forward to with Patrick, Heather, & Ellie since we took these engagement photos on that freezing cold day last fall.

Callie contacted me about a year ago, inquiring about wedding photography. We met up for her & Justin's engagement session this past fall & I had so much fun with them, I couldn't wait until this weekend came around.

Fast forward to this past Saturday, we came together again, this time at the beautiful Glade Creek Farms in Raleigh County, WV with all of their favorite people. Along with all of their family and friends, we all got to witness them say their vows on top of amazing hillside on that farm, only to follow with an amazing meal, and top notch entertainment to carry us through the evening.

Thank you again, Callie & Justin for choosing me to document your day.

Special thanks to Leslie for shooting beside of me, with a second set of eyes & point of view. It was such a pleasure to shoot along side The RC Saylors Videography, and to *try* not to dance as I "worked" to Nick Scott's killer song choices all evening!

Friends! Rumor has it the field of yellow flowers I was able to get a couple sessions in last year is in full bloom again.

I would love to book a few evening sessions (family, senior, kids, headshots, anything!) out there over the next couple of weeks while the field is gorgeous.

Shoot me a message if you're in! I am so in.

Robyn & Jeremiah's day was as fun & sweet as the two of them last month!

Sometimes things just fall into place in so many different ways on so many different levels. Robyn an my first meeting with each other at Books & Brews after a mutual friend suggested we chat about their wedding photography was just another part that just fit. We talked for 45 minutes before even mentioning their wedding day or photography at all. It was a no brainer (for me, at least) that I had to not only work with Robyn, but become friends. It's nice when that happens. Really nice. The Train Depot as their venue in Ashland, KY was icing on the cake!

Thanks for allowing me to be part of your day, Jeremiah & Robyn!

Photography. Meeting new people, having fun with old friends, traveling, photo adventures, documenting everyday, just a few things this love of mine allows me to do.

I have had some of the best subjects this year, and I am grateful for their choice in me and allowing me to document their lives in all stages. From newborns, beautiful children at play, to senior year portraits, to engagements, their dream weddings & awesomely fun reception parties, maternity sessions with glowing momma & poppa's to be. A true definition of full circle of life & I have been given the option to watch it unfold before my lens.

Thank you.

I greatly appreciate the opportunity to work a full-time job (that I actually enjoy most of the time) & still have the ability to use my creativity that is in my blood through photography. I'll keep doing it, if you'll ask me to, because I love it.
