Photography is about art, but also connection. When I started shooting at 14 and then taking on small jobs in my 20s, I didn't anticipate what it would grow into. The art and creativity is always there-- but through it, I've been able to meet incredible people, many who have become friends.
I first did family photos for the Fix family in 2017. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to literally watch their family grow up. The boys are young men now, just as sweet and polite as they were 9 years ago.
I hope all my clients know what a joy it is to be a part of your journey, especially over years. It's more than just an hour of photos on a fall or spring evening. It's being able to freeze the moments for you, for years to come... and the gravity of that is not lost on me.
