to a springtime promo shoot I had with my friend Chelsea this past Spring at Como Lake Park. She’s a singer-songwriter and guitarist who’s been active in the Buffalo music scene for years now. I first met her in 2013 when she was still a student at SUNY Fredonia, performing at the Music Industry Club’s Life is Art Festival, and our paths have crossed multiple times since.

For the past year I’ve been greatly inspired by the otherworldly and vivid colors of infrared photography—kudos to the photography Jamie Windsor for his excellent Aerochrome presets—which has opened up so many creative possibilities in my landscape and portraiture work. Chelsea was down to experiment for this shoot, and the results are dreamlike in their strange but captivating beauty.
