Erika, Erika, Erika… and Eric too, of course. These two completely captured my heart. Erika is one of those people who lights up a room with her spirit and effortless beauty, and getting to know her throughout the wedding planning process has been such a joy. Every single photo of these two feels like artwork, and together they have such an ease about them. They just fit.

We spent the evening wandering around High Violet with wine, laughter, music, and absolutely no pressure to make things feel “perfect.” Those are always my favorite kinds of sessions, the ones that feel more like a night out than a photoshoot. The vibes were right from the second we started.

I wish I could fully explain what I love so much about sessions like this. It’s the atmosphere. The chemistry. The in-between moments and the ones you didn’t expect. Capturing people as they actually are with each other. We somehow managed to do everything and more in just one hour, and I left feeling so inspired by these two and the energy they brought into the space.

onone of the best weddings i’ve ever photographed. truly magic from beginning to end ✨

abbi and ryan dreamed up the most beautiful, intentional day at the powerhouse in buffalo, and somehow the two of them did not take a single bad photo. their vision was quiet and timeless and full of meaning, and you could feel it in every corner of the day.

one of my favorite moments was sneaking away for portraits at ballyhoo buffalo, a place that holds real weight in their story. i love when couples pick locations that mean something. it made the gallery feel personal in a way you cannot manufacture.

the powerhouse was made for this kind of light. it poured through every window all day. and then a storm rolled in, lightning cracked across the sky, and minutes later the softest rainbow stretched out over the water. i still cannot believe we got to witness it.

from their engagement session to their wedding day, i had the best feeling about these two. abbi and ryan, thank you for trusting me with all of it. enjoy every second of italy 🤍

Christine and Evan brought the very best energy to their engagement session. They chose the Hotel Lafayette, where they both live and where they met, because it felt like them, and it was perfect. I could not get over Christine’s polka dot skirt or Evan’s incredible hair. They looked so effortlessly chic and a little French that I had to add a touch of French music to this post.

We wandered through Lafayette Square, walked until the light felt just a little too dusky, then had some fun inside the hotel. Christine had tears in her eyes more than once while we were shooting. These two were so in love and so genuinely happy that it was impossible not to feel it every second of the session.

They absolutely deserve the love they have found, and it was such a privilege to play even a small part in their story. More sessions like this in 2026, please.

Not sure where to start with Gabe and Kayla, or how incredible they were to work with, both as a couple and as people. From the very beginning, they were fully present, soaking in every moment. They stopped to hug every single guest, there were happy tears everywhere, and the joy in the room was undeniable.
Kayla looked absolutely unreal, truly giving effortless 90s supermodel energy. Her smile can light up any room, and it did all day long. There was not a single moment of this wedding that did not feel thoughtful, warm, and deeply special to document. One of those days that reminds you exactly why you love what you do.
