Flower season is coming … and so is Kirstin & Sasha’s wedding day ☺️🌸

Spring is a very meaningful time of year for these two - it’s when they got engaged, their wedding season, and it’s filled with the pops of color and flowers they love so much. The cherry blossoms were an easy choice for their engagement session. What isn’t so easy was predicting when these beauties will pop open - but we timed it perfectly! We had a gorgeous day and the place to ourselves 😍

As I share Samantha & Jack’s wedding day, it brings me back to how intentional I needed to be with every moment I captured.

There was carefully planned details, lots of emotion, and recent loss.

Leading into the wedding day, I have my couples record all of those small moments that will matter the most to them throughout their day. This goes beyond the reception favors they’ve planned out, or their first look.

This goes deep into family. Moments that they’ll cherish forever. Momentos of loved ones.

For Samantha, recently loosing someone she loved so deeply, I knew the moments that mattered most. We created space in the morning for silence and remembrance while the women that held him so closely in their hearts, together attached a charm to Samantha’s bouquet, so she had him with her all day. ❤️

I myself, having lost someone that close to me - feel it so deeply as I capture those moments on a wedding day.

Your gallery is so much more than digital images. You can’t recreate these moments. You can’t go back and change how you felt about the day and your vendors. Take the time to find someone who will value what you value. ❤️
