Unreal experience with today!! Stephanie and Dave are my studio neighbors and invited me to get my eyes photographed! IT WAS SO COOL. They explained the different parts that you see when your eye is magnified this way, and pointed out the dark freckle spot in my eye! Then they turned it into a bunch of beautifully designed art prints. Thank you guys so much for making a random Thursday so fun!

One of the questions I get asked often is whether newborn sessions happen in-home or in the studio. Let’s me break down the pros of each. While both can be beautiful, there are so many benefits to choosing a studio session!

I can remember how absolutely wild it was to see my body change as a little baby grew before my eyes. Some days felt amazing, others you’d find me sick or passed out from exhaustion, most days I felt so beautiful, other days I felt huge. Overall, I felt lucky, because I loved being pregnant. Now that Drew is six (🥹) it’s been fun to show him photos from when I was pregnant and talk about how excited we were to meet him. It’s made me SO glad to have them!

8-5p as a full time photographer! Any day I can step out of the office + away from the computer is a fun one. Starting at the studio to host the monthly creative shoot out and ending with one of my most favorite things to photograph: city hall ceremonies 🥹 Plus NY gave us a 45 degree day in January and I saw the sun!
