Sadie + Anthony's Old Forge Elopement Part One:

We began the morning off at the trailhead, all 4 dogs in tow! The fog was still blanketed on the trees as the first light of the day was starting to show. As we hiked a short distance along the lake, you could hear the forest coming to life. Ducks followed us along in the water, and we reached the perfect little gem of a spot lakeside that was about to become the location of their "I do's"!

Their ceremony was intimate, with a few family members next to them as they declared their love for one another. The smiles, the laughter, the tears.. everything was purely magical!

Playing around in blue hour can truly be magical and so much fun! It's the time of day where the sun has set below the horizon, but there's still some escaping light visible that creates the softest skintones.

👉 Before this year, I haven't stepped foot on an airplane since 2006! I lost a dear friend to a plane crash, so it was definitely warranted. But I've conquered that fear and have by on multiple flights this year with more scheduled.

👉 January 1st, 2024, will be 3 years without drinking any soda! That sh*ts nasty and ultimately super bad for you! Kicking that habit wasn't easy, y'all!

👉 My top 3 favorite movies are: Twister, Twilight, and Sweet Home Alabama!

👉 I have this pull on my heart to start brand designs and websites as well as blog and pinterest management. Stay tuned -> this is in the works!

👉 My Mom is not only my best friend but she's also my travel buddy and I wouldn't have it any other way!

Such a whimsical woodsy vibe for this bride + groom's photos!

Kaylie + Nick read their heartfelt vows to one another under a blanket of moss covered trees. The smell of ferns and pine soaked the air. Birds sang, and insects hummed by as if we weren't even there. The river splashed as it cascaded down the mountain. It was one of those beautiful intimate elopements that you'll never forget.
