One handsome guy! The Rose-breasted Grosbeak or ‘Pheucticus Ludovicianus’ this is a very plump bird that almost reminds me of a parrot! In my opinion though haha. They have a triangular rose patch on the center of their chest (mostly the males) with a THICK beak. The male and female will construct the nest together and have 1-2 broods per year. They usually have about 3-5 blue-green eggs with brown markings on them during those times. Migrating from Mexico, Central America, and South America looking for insects, fruits, and seeds. These are a big summer bird (I don’t blame them) and right now is the best time to see them!
