The Greenwood Memorial Pool opened in 1915, as a gift from the Greenwood family. It was built after swimming was banned at Crystal Lake, the beautiful complex featured both indoor and outdoor pools, plus a large bathhouse — a luxury at the time! It quickly became a community favorite.

After more than a century of memories, the building sadly fell into disrepair and was closed in 2012. In 2025, the historic structure was sadly demolished.

A random roadside find on a roadtrip. This house was so decayed we couldn’t go inside, we just looked though the windows!
