Oya Emancipation Photography was birthed out of the need for women to have a place to go for photography with their unique needs in mind and photographers that specialize in all shapes and sizes of the female body.

We specialize in what we call “Emancipation Photography” where you embark on freedom from self and societal restrictions, your insecurities, fears, and limitations”. The Oya experience is designed to liberate and celebrate the unique beauty of ALL Women.

Prior to the shoot we will start with an in depth consultation and questionnaire to learn about the clients insecurities and areas they would like to focus on and veer away from in the photographs. We learn everything we need to know in order to create a perfect Oya experience for each of our clients even down to favorite music in order to create a personalized playlist to be used during the shoot.

Following the consultation we provide specialized instructions on how each client should prepare for their Oya experience the night before and the day of the shoot. This includes herbs and oils for the bodies preparation as well as other items needed to prepare the mind, body and spirit for your Oya experience.

For the actual shoot we will select locations to best achieve the clients vision for their photographs.
This includes but is not limited to local scenic outdoor locations (beach, parks, flower gardens, historic sites etc.), the clients bo***ir, or any other location of the clients choosing.

Wardrobe will consist of the clients personal wardrobe or we can provide some styling options. It may also include lightly clothed, semi disrobed or completely disrobed options. The Oya team is comfortable with any level of bareness our client is comfortable with and is trained to capture beautiful photos no matter your style choice or level of coverage.

At Oya Emancipation Photography our Female only team works with each client during all aspects of their Oya experience. You will have someone controlling every aspect of the scene, wardrobe and poses during the shoot in addition to someone taking the photo’s.

We also have on our team someone available for makeup, hair, wardrobe, styling, as well as a trained Reiki provider that can provide a reiki session as a part of your package. We will watch for every detail and give you gentle and encouraging instruction in order to capture the best photo’s and provide you with the best experience. Our team will be there to ensure that each clients comfort level and needs are met.
