THE WORK IS FAR FROM FINISHED.

SOME WINS ARE ABOUT MORE THAN THE SCOREBOARD. 🏈

Two teams walked onto that field with identical 1–4 records. Both had earned their place. Both had something to prove.

But on this Friday night, the Johnson Jaguars answered the call.

Not just with points on the board, but with heart, discipline, and a relentless effort from the first whistle to the last.

Every block. Every tackle. Every yard earned.

And as the game unfolded, the opportunity came for more Jaguars to step onto that field. Players who put in the same hours at practice, make the same sacrifices, and wear that same jersey with pride.

Because that’s what makes a team.

It’s not just the names you hear on Friday nights. It’s every player who shows up, puts in the work, and stands ready when their number is called.

JOHNSON 63 | DEL VALLE 7

A well-deserved victory. Respect to Del Valle for stepping onto that field and competing.

But the Jaguars know something important.

One win doesn’t define a season. And one Friday night doesn’t finish the job.

There are more games to play. More challenges ahead. More opportunities to prove what this team is capable of.

Enjoy the victory. Appreciate the brotherhood. Remember the work it took to get here.

Then get ready to do it all again.

Stay hungry. Stay humble. The journey continues.

TWO SETS. NO DRAMA. JAGS HANDLE BUSINESS. 🏐

Johnson Volleyball stepped on the court against Del Valle and controlled the match from start to finish.

Pressure at the net. Bodies hitting the floor. Teammates covering teammates. And when it was over, the Jaguars walked away with the win in two straight sets.

Quick. Clean. Business handled.

Maziah came ready to make a statement. 🔥⚾️

Only 6U, but already bringing the confidence, personality, and swagger of a ballplayer who knows exactly why he stepped in front of the camera.

From the fire to the smoke to that bat-detail shot, this session was all about letting Maziah be Maziah while giving him visuals that hit different.

Young athletes deserve more than a basic picture in uniform. Give them an experience that makes them feel like the athlete they’re becoming.

We don’t do boring over here. We create an experience.

Some wins mean a little more. 🤘

Gray skies. Rain in the air. Alumni back on the Forty Acres. Bevo on hand. And another chapter added to Texas Soccer.

On a day that brought generations of Longhorns together, Texas battled Oklahoma and walked away with a 2–1 WIN.

The weather may have been dreary, but the energy surrounding this program was anything but.

From the alumni who helped build the standard, to the women carrying it forward today, this was bigger than 90 minutes of soccer. It was a reminder that when you wear the Burnt Orange, you’re part of something that lasts long after your final match.

Past. Present. Future. Texas. 🤘

Congratulations to Texas Women’s Soccer on the win—and thank you for the opportunity to document another piece of the journey.

THIS is what happens when Media Day leaves the studio.

Football. Cheer. Water. Light. And absolutely no interest in playing it safe.

I wanted this Jr. Jags session to feel less like traditional youth sports photography and more like an athlete campaign — bold portraits, hard light, reflections, flying water and plenty of energy.

A few athletes. One field. A storm moving closer by the minute.

For the Hays Outlaws Youth Football & Cheer Media Day, we had a smaller group step in front of the camera—but that didn’t mean scaling back the experience.

Lights up. Smoke rolling. Athletes moving. Ideas changing on the fly. And all night, one eye on the sky.

That’s the part you don’t always see in the finished photos.

Media Day isn’t about standing on a mark, taking three pictures, and moving to the next athlete. It’s about creating an environment where every athlete who steps in front of my camera gets the opportunity to show some personality and feel like the star of the shoot.

Small turnout. Big energy.

And we got it done before the storm got us.

SATURDAY MORNINGS START HERE. 🏈

Before the Friday night lights. Before varsity jerseys. Before packed stadiums.

There are mornings like this.

The Buda Jr. Jaguars 7U took the field against the Westlake Chaps for an early morning matchup filled with tackles, runs, coaching, teammates and plenty of lessons along the way.

The scoreboard didn’t fall the Jr. Jags’ way this morning — but at this age, every snap is an opportunity to learn.

Learning where to line up.
Learning how to block.
Learning how to tackle.
Learning how to trust the kid standing next to you.

And most importantly — learning to love the game.

There were still plenty of smiles when it was over.

Keep working, little Jags. 🐆

SAME ROOTS. DIFFERENT SIDELINES.

This one was bigger than a Friday night.

Johnson and Hays opened district play with two programs separated by only a few miles — and a lot of familiar faces across the line of scrimmage.

Some of these athletes grew up playing youth football together. Some grew up competing against each other. Years later, they met again under the Friday night lights — this time representing Johnson and Hays.

Hays entered the matchup undefeated in its first season of 6A competition. Johnson came in looking to change the direction of its season.

The Jaguars didn’t get the result they wanted, but nights like this are about more than the final score.

The band. The student sections. The sidelines. The collisions. The familiar faces wearing different colors.

A new chapter in a local matchup — and the beginning of district play.

A crown. A statement gown. A little personality. And a full cinematic portrait experience built around her.

Safe to say… I think I can handle it. 👑

Now I might have a problem—because I definitely want to shoot more of these.

Drip Select 12U came ready to work—but seeing the images hit the screen in real time took the energy to another level.

The smiles. The hype. Teammates reacting to each other’s shots. That moment when an athlete sees herself looking like she belongs in a campaign.

That’s what a VC Photography Media Day is built around. Not just photos—a full athlete experience.

Drip Select 12U Media Day. That’s a wrap.
