Dreaming of warm light again.

By the time December rolls in, the days get short and the light gets quiet… and honestly? It makes me appreciate homes like this even more.

These photos were taken in summertime — when the sun poured in, the greens outside were vibrant, and every room felt alive.
And looking back at them now is a nice little reminder of what’s waiting on the other side of winter.

Bright kitchens, inviting colors, open views — the kind of spaces that feel good in any season, but especially on days when we’re all craving a little extra sunlight.

If you’ve got a listing coming up, I can help it shine no matter what the Maine weather decides to do.

❄️ Late Fall on the Maine coast hits a little different.

There’s something about late Fall sunsets—when the colors go all soft and the leaves have gone—that turns a simple shoreline into the coziest kind of escape.

If you're thinking about listing a vacation rental for the holidays or the winter season, scenes like this do half the talking for you.
A fire going, a few chairs pulled up to the view, and the whole world gets quiet for a minute.

Winter doesn’t have to mean “closed for the season.”
Sometimes it’s the perfect time to show off the peaceful side of coastal Maine.

A quiet pause between the shopping days

The stretch between Black Friday and Cyber Monday can feel like a whirlwind — inboxes full, to-do lists long, everyone rushing from one thing to the next.

So here’s a little breather.
Just late-fall Maine doing what it does best: soft light, warm woods, and those fiery last leaves hanging on before winter settles in.

Homes photographed this time of year have a calm, lived-in beauty. Something steady. Something grounding. And honestly… sometimes that’s exactly what we need in between the sales and the noise.

If you’ve got a listing coming up before the holidays, these late-autumn days are magic for capturing it.

Small Business Saturday — and a little color courage 🎨

Today’s a good day to celebrate the small businesses that bring character into our Maine communities — including the ones that help homeowners and realtors make a house feel unforgettable.

This home had some of the boldest color choices I’ve seen all year… and honestly? It works. Rich greens, deep blues, crisp whites — it’s proof that when a homeowner leans in, a space can tell its own story.

I love photographing homes like this because they remind me why small, local work matters. Every listing, every room, every confident design choice supports real people doing real work right here in Maine.

If you’re a local realtor, designer, or homeowner dreaming up your next project — I’d love to help you show it off.

🍁 Happy Thanksgiving, from my family to yours

My sweet mom in her happy place, making sure the pies are perfect. Making delicious food for her family is her love language.

There’s something special about capturing these in-between moments… the ones we usually rush past. I’m grateful I get to freeze little pieces of life like this.

Wishing you a cozy day, good food, and the people who make it all feel like home.

Details matter — in design and in photography.
They’re the little signals that tell buyers, “This home has been loved.”

Whether it’s the texture of weathered wood on a front porch, a carefully styled shelf or the calm of a cozy reading corner. These small moments give a listing personality. They help people imagine themselves living here, not just touring a property.

When I photograph homes, I always like to capture these quieter scenes. They bring warmth to a gallery, elevate the overall story, and help your listing stand out in a sea of wide shots.

If your next property has beautiful details, let’s make sure buyers see them.

Some homes just hold time differently.
This restored farmhouse in Milbridge is one of those places — where old craftsmanship and quiet Maine landscapes meet in the best way.

The wide fields, the classic New England barn, the long gravel drive… it all sets the stage before you even step inside. And once you do? Exposed beams, original woodwork, and a kitchen that feels like it’s been part of family stories for generations.

Photographing a home like this is all about balance — keeping the character intact while giving every room the clarity buyers need. Clean lines. Honest light. Details left to breathe.

For listings with history, that approach makes all the difference.

Basements like this are fun to photograph because they tell you exactly who lives here: game nights, sports on the TV, a bar stocked for friends, and a room built for relaxing. These kinds of spaces are huge selling points for buyers who want more than just bedrooms and bathrooms.

My job is to capture the layout clearly and keep the lighting clean so buyers can imagine their own version of this space — whether that’s movie nights, a home gym, or a Sunday football retreat.

Homes don’t need to be extravagant to photograph beautifully — they just need good bones, clean light, and a little care. This property had all three.

From the soft coastal colors in the living room to the vaulted primary bedroom and the simple, sun-filled guest rooms, every space had its own kind of ease. And the backyard? Wide open, private, and made for late-summer evenings.

When I photograph a home like this, I try to focus on how the spaces feel — bright mornings, fresh air, and room to breathe. That’s what buyers respond to, especially here in Maine.

If your upcoming listing needs calm, natural, scroll-stopping photos, I’m here for it.

Bright, open spaces are one of the first things buyers look for — and these two rooms had it in spades. Clean lines, great flow, and plenty of light make the whole home feel bigger and more welcoming.

My approach with kitchens and dining areas is simple: keep it natural, keep it honest, and let the room speak for itself. A few well-chosen angles can make a huge difference in how a listing performs online.

If you’ve got a property with spaces like these, I’d love to help you show them at their very best.
