I pulled up to First Bank to shoot for our client Majestic Services — gear ready, lighting mapped out, shot list tight.

Then… plans changed.
A meeting ran long, timing got pushed, and we had to wait it out.

But here’s the thing — this stuff happens.

What separates good content pros from great ones is how you adapt without losing your cool.

I used the Sun Seeker app to check the light and confirm we had time before sunset.
Communicated that to the client, adjusted the plan, and kept the shoot stress-free.

What’s good, everybody?

I did something a little old-school recently — but with intention.

I mailed out RACK cards + business cards to prospects. On the RACK card, I dropped a QR code that leads directly into our sales funnel and offers a free consultation.

Here’s why I did it: not everyone’s going to catch you on social media. Algorithms can hide you. But when you put something directly in someone’s hand, it’s harder to ignore.

And the numbers back it up:
• Direct mail still delivers — average response rates are around 4.4%, while email sits at ~0.12%.
• Add a QR code, and engagement jumps — studies show QR-driven mail can hit 6.4% scan rates.
• Direct mail + digital campaigns together can see a 118% lift in response compared to static campaigns.
• QR codes also give trackable data — when people scan, where they scan, and how they engage.
