I always believed I was meant to create… and I’m so thankful I never gave up on finding a way to make that happen📷

Throughout college and the years between graduation and when I took my camera to a beach to “try out” doing the photography thing, I always felt like I was in a bind. Mentally and physically. All I wanted to do was something “creative”; to make and create art in some way. I knew sitting behind a desk all day in the traditional sense every day wasn’t for me. I wanted to be actively out in the world and using my hands. I wanted to play with light and color and make something beautiful that would make people happy.

Little did I know then how this was so tied into how my brain works; what it loves in color and light and seeing beauty everywhere around me. Photography is the perfect “job” where my late-diagnosed ADHD could fully flourish and be a huge strength🙌🏻

Photography entered my world as a means of creating while getting to contribute to my family financially, and having something just for “me” while also being heavy in a season of SAHM life with littles.

I love that I get to be creative. I love that it allows me to dream, envision, adventure, play outside, and engage with families, couples, and littles during sessions in the sweetest ways. And I LOVE that I then get to give my beautiful friends and clients photos that will forever hold the beauty of their lives in the moment and season that we captured them.

Thank you to every person who’s invited me into their lives and stories, and for giving me opportunities to creatively dream and live out my hope of one day getting to be a “creator of art” without feeling silly or out of place. I love where I’m at and have so many visions for future shoots that I can’t wait to bring to life🥰🤩

I have, and will always have, such a soft spot for photographing mamas and their babies🥹🥰

Swipe to see my first ever session 4 years ago that wasn’t a “session” but was me “testing out” if I enjoyed photography enough to make a business out of it. And when I tell you that I left that session photographing some maternity photos at the beach for a sweet friend having never felt so much JOY while doing anything that could be called “work”… 🥹🫶🏻🙌🏻 I knew I couldn’t deny myself trying to see what I could make happen with a new business.

Now here we are 4 years later and it’s so fun to see how much I’ve grown in my own creative space with what I capture and produce, and how many beautiful people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and photographing🤎
