A 13 year dream realized ✨

A tiny bit of blood (jk no blood), but lots of sweat and tears are behind this website and its contents.

The address is the same but everything is different. I’m different. The growth that I’ve watched in my own life makes childhood me with her pawn shop film camera in the backyard, really, really proud.

I’ve always loved this art but haven’t always loved the business. I’m not cut-throat, I care about every interaction, I want to make clients happy. That won’t ever change but I also want to be happy so I choose projects with people who are open, and trusting and above all, kind. That kindness sets the tone for us to create photographs that pull at every heart string.

Thank you for being on the journey of a lifetime with me, your support means more than you’ll ever know.

A day just for them, to have and to hold. The mountains surrounded their love and spoke to its steadiness.

I don’t often shoot weddings but when I do, it’s for kind people who are focused on what really matters, the life they’re building together and documenting how they felt as the day ebbs and flows.

More like this in the future please.

As I see lifestyle and editorial photography for families becoming more popular, I can get caught up in feeling like we’re all doing the same thing. So I try to keep my creative flow flowing by remembering what is most important to me. Things like honesty, connection, emotion, grit, feeling, perfect imperfection, beautiful mess and of course how light communicates all of that.

Perfect and posed has never been what
stirs my soul. I want the good stuff. Whimsy and wonder. A little grit and a lot of tenderness.

I think what stands out about what I try to do is create safety to be vulnerable and open and to feel. I’ve never been scared of feelings. They’re kind of my thing, so it makes me happy to create an environment where people can express themselves with the people they love most and not feel embarrassed or weird about it.

Going into 2026 I’m already zeroed in on things like touch and skin and wrinkles and eyelashes and hands and messy hair in the wind.

Living in Dallas it’s easy to get caught up in everything looking just right, but that’s not the goal. The goal is genuine connection between you and your people, your business, or just you and yourself (more on this coming soon.)

To be in front of the lens isn’t an everyday experience for most so I want it to be safe for you. We’re not here for the traditional we’re here for real, tangible, soft, strong and every emotion in between. When you breathe out and relax and let go of expectations is when the real magic happens. That’s when we can truly make art that feels like you to pass down for generations.

I know now how much time and care I put into each project and to uphold the standard you expect I will be taking on less projects to allow for creating with people who are completely aligned with going with the creative flow, telling a story and making one of a kind art pieces.

2026 books are opening soon and I can’t wait to create real things with real people like you.

Happiest birthday to the happiest girl! Some years there’s a little one that is just in sync with me as we create for your family, Isla and I were on the same wave length this day, playing in sun rays and letting the day unfold naturally.

As this year ends I’m looking back over the art we created together and it makes me so happy. I feel like I know who I am more than ever and that comes through in what we make because I trust myself to tell your story as it is in front of me. You trust is really what seals the deal though. When you show up ready to play as we find the good light, your attitude makes ALL the difference.

What you’re feeling shows up in each frame. Thank you for coming with curiosity, openness, and vulnerability.

For slowing down and taking time away from every screen.
For coming to me with a vision and saying I haven’t seen this before but I was hoping we could…
For keeping it cool as kids are kids
For holding expectations loosely knowing that’s how the best magic is made
For wanting imperfect imperfection.
For wanting real not forced or photoshopped.

I can’t believe it’s already time to prep for spring, as promised a new booking system is going to allow for even more heartfelt and aligned connections. Keep your eye out for the spring ‘26 booking season announcement for email subscribers, it’s coming sooner than ever before so I can be sure to say yes more than I ever have!

Can’t wait to create with you.

The sweetest and sometimes the hardest time, toddler babies, non stop movement and big feelings. The beauty in the chaos always stirs my heart and watching friends parent so graciously is one of my top favorite things about life. No one said it would be perfect or easy but it is good.

Anna and her babies out in the evening glow. Hands on hands and noses buried in chunky cheeks. I’ll never forget it.

When it’s just you and your little buddy.

Daniela is so trusting of the process, she’s always down to be creative yet keep it simple so we’re not doing too much at once (toddlers iykyk). She brought *me* a yummy treat for this session and I sometimes still have to pinch myself that I get to work with such kind, chill, thoughtful people.

I’ll never forget the feeling of little hands on my face, it feels like being treasured by your tiny biggest fan. Never not emo about it.

Snuggle and play at home. Photograph it. 100% guarantee you’ll never regret it.

There’s something about sisters. A girl you know your entire life. Someone you trust with your whole heart and someone who knows all of your history. One is great but two? What a gift.

And these girls are going to be the best big sisters.

Can’t believe we get to do this again for the newest Wade baby coming soon.

Years pass and families grow and you grow as a human and I’ve never had anyone ever regret photographing exactly where they are in life.

These are the days. Not tomorrow, not yesterday, now. Make art of them while you’re in them.

The perfection of imperfection.
The beauty in chaos.
Don’t let anything stop you.
