Off for my first real train ride. Loved it... The Smoky Mountains is a beautiful peaceful place to spend two weeks. So much to do up there. Cades Cove, TN side, was beautiful and full of Bears, Deer, Turkeys and 1 Elk. Ha

Visited Bryson City, NC for a Train Ride, & Pigeon Forge area. Cades Cove, TN was magnificent. Lots of critters out roam...

Visited Bryson City, NC for a Train Ride, & Pigeon Forge area. Cades Cove, TN was magnificent. Lots of critters out roaming around, bears, cubs, deer, elk, turkeys ha then a surprise. Wild Horses are now part of the landscape roaming around free as a bird, almost but some were friendly.
Loved the Smoky Mountains. Avg temp 71/73 in the morning & 80's in the afternoon w/o humidity. Awesome weather and not crowded here but Gatlinburg,TN was Mob City. We escaped quickly... LOL
