There was such a peaceful sweetness to Beau’s session, and he made it so easy to capture these first little moments. His tiny little details, that precious sleepy grin, and the cutest knit outfit all made these photos feel so tender and timeless.

Some sessions just feel like they belong to the person in them, and Shelbie’s was exactly that. This historic private estate, with its winding stone paths, soft spring blooms, quiet pond, and old stone mill tucked into the woods, fit her so beautifully. It felt whimsical and peaceful, like stepping into a storybook — and it was so Shelbie. It was the perfect way to celebrate this season before she steps into the next one 🎓

School starts soon, and with it, the slow shift from sun-soaked days to schedules and structure.
It’s always bittersweet — watching them take another step forward, another year older. A mix of pride, nostalgia, and that ache only a mama’s heart knows.

These photos were taken last year, but they capture the exact feeling I want to hold onto right now — soaking in the messy, playful, joy-filled days with our kids. Because summer won’t last forever — and neither will the little years.

So here’s your reminder (and mine): slow down. Make the mess. Say yes to the paint, the chaos, the giggles. These days may be fleeting, but they’re the ones we’ll miss the most.
