Photography for me is about using the gifts God has given me to serve people, preserve the moments He’s blessed us with, and hopefully reflect a little bit of Him along the way.
My faith is at the heart of why I do what I do. Jesus tells us to “take up your cross daily and follow Me” (Luke 9:23), and I’ve realized that following Him isn’t something that only happens on Sundays, it should be woven into every part of my life, including this business.
Whether I’m photographing a family, a new baby, a couple, or the everyday moments that may not feel significant until years from now, my prayer is that Jesus shines through me in the way I serve, the way I love people, and the work I create.
I don’t want this business to simply point back to me. I want the work of my hands to point back to Him. I want to use the gifts He gave me in a way that shows His goodness and brings Him glory.
“Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” — 1 Corinthians 10:31
Take up your cross. Follow Him. Use what He’s given you. Give Him the glory.
