Another year photographing the International Mountain Trail NW Region 1 Championship at Bolender Horse Park is in the books! The weekend was certainly a memorable one — thanks to a fleeting but very powerful storm that flooded the course, broke tree branches and left me looking like I had just jumped into a lake. Not exactly the kind of conditions you want to be in with professional camera gear! It was a long drive home in soaking wet clothes...! Day 2 was so much kinder in terms of weather and I enjoyed watching all the talented IMTCA riders perform their patterns. These pictures took longer to process thanks to very dark and stormy lighting, but all photos from Day 1 are now up on my site and Day 2 will be up by the end of the day! https://www.cambriecaldwell.com/client-galleries/

I was honored to photograph this past weekend's International Mountain Trail Course Association qualifying challenge for a second year at Bolender Horse Park. What a fun and unique equestrian event with talented competitors of all ages! Here's a sneak peek from the weekend. Finally found some time to sit down and finish editing these yummy, sun-drenched shots from earlier in the summer. Brado has so much presence (and hair!) and getting to capture his bond with my good friend Ashley Morgan Rhodes Official felt like stepping into a fairytale.
