🚨 TONIGHT’S SESSIONS ARE RESCHEDULED 🚨

One little fun fact about your photographer: I have HORRIBLE storm anxiety. 😂

Like… when the weather starts acting like this, I am physically incapable of focusing on literally anything else. Editing? Nope. Emails? Nope. Cleaning? Absolutely not. My entire brain is just sitting there like, “ARE WE ALL GOING TO DIE?!” 😂

So, I’m going to go ahead and reschedule all of tonight’s sessions. I’ll message everyone individually tonight once things calm down a little more and we can figure out a new date/time that works!

And listen… if you’re looking at this weather and thinking, “You know what? I don’t even need back-to-school pictures anymore.” 😂 That’s totally fine too! We can switch it up and do a completely different session.

Because apparently Mother Nature has decided photography is cancelled for the evening. 😂🌪️

I know with these 100° days, Christmas is probably the LAST thing on our minds…🎄☀️ Or maybe you’re like me and the heat has you dreaming about cooler weather already! 😂

I CANNOT believe we are less than a week away from the first day of school (even though some of y’all have already started) 😭📚✏️

I feel like summer took 87 years but also somehow flew by in 3 days. 😂

May the teachers have patience, the parents have coffee, the kids remember where they put their shoes, and everyone survive the first week. 🙏🏼🤣

These past couple years, I’ve lost people I never expected to lose, and one of the things I wish I had more of is photographs with them.

Your photos don’t have to be picture perfect. Your hair doesn’t have to be perfect. Your kids don’t have to cooperate. You don’t have to have the perfect outfits or a perfectly planned moment. Come as you are. ❤️

Let me photograph the genuine laughs, the goofy smiles, the little moments, the hugs, the chaos, and the love you share with the people who mean the most to you. Because one day, those imperfect photos may become some of the most perfect things you own.

Don’t wait for everything to be “just right” to document the people you love. Get in the picture. You’ll never regret having too many memories to look back on. 📸❤️

Our FIRST Stranger Session officially has a match and I am SO freaking excited about this one!!! I seriously cannot wait to get these two in front of my camera and see how this whole thing plays out. 📸

I think we found a REALLY good match, but I’m keeping the details under wraps for now… 🤫

I cannot WAIT to show y’all the photos when it happens!!! This is about to be so much fun. 🥹❤️

Michigan weather… you really keep us on our toes. 😂🌧️

Today was one of those days where the weather just could NOT make up its mind. It was rainy and gloomy on and off all day, and this morning I had to reschedule sessions because it was absolutely pouring.

I really, really didn’t want to have to reschedule my beach sessions tonight too. But one of my clients tonight said, “Let’s chance it.” So we did. And I am SO glad we did. 🥹❤️

There was definitely some rain, but thankfully it never turned into the downpour and we were able to get some absolutely beautiful photos before the weather had another chance to ruin our plans. 🌊✨

So thankful for clients who are flexible, understanding, and willing to roll with the crazy Michigan weather with me. ❤️

And honestly… sometimes the sessions you almost reschedule end up being some of your favorites. 🥹📸

🌧️ A little rain appreciation post… 🌧️

I know rescheduling because of weather can be frustrating for both of us. You look forward to your session, you plan your day around it, get everyone ready, pick outfits, maybe even bribe the kids 😂… and then Mother Nature decides she has other plans. 🙃

As a photographer, I know how disappointing it can be to have to change plans, too. But I promise I’m never rescheduling because I want to. I want you to have beautiful photos, and sometimes that means waiting for a day when the weather will actually cooperate and allow us to have the session we planned for.

So today, I just want to say thank you to all of my clients who are understanding when weather throws us a curveball. 🤍 Your patience, flexibility, and trust mean more than you know.

I know it sucks to change plans. I know you were excited. I was excited too. 🥹

But I’d rather reschedule and give you the beautiful session you deserve than rush through it in miserable weather or risk your photos not turning out the way we both envisioned.

Thank you for understanding, trusting me, and rolling with the unpredictable Michigan weather. 🌦️😂

Now… everyone please collectively tell the rain to take the day off. 😂☀️

MATCH FOUND!

💘 STRANGER PHOTOSHOOT 💘

Okay, I have never done one of these but have been asked multiple times the last month to start doing them. 👀

I’ve been asked to photograph a stranger-style photoshoot with a single guy, and we’re looking for women who are genuinely open to meeting someone new.

The concept is simple: two strangers meet for the first time, we capture their interaction, chemistry, conversation, and overall vibe, and see what happens. No pressure, no expectations, just a fun opportunity to meet someone you otherwise may have never crossed paths with. ❤️

💙 ABOUT HIM:

• ✝️ Christian faith is very important to him and he is specifically looking for a woman who shares that faith and genuinely practices it.
• 💍 He is dating with the intention of eventually finding someone to settle down with and build a life with.
