May in Indiana just hits different.
It’s the roar of engines at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the smell of rubber and fuel in the air, and the tradition of the Indy 500 bringing generations together. It’s front porch conversations, checkered flags, and a deep pride in where we come from.
But as the laps wind down and the month comes to a close, we pause for something greater.
Memorial Day reminds us that freedom isn’t free. We honor the brave men and women who gave everything so we can enjoy days like these — the races, the family, the simple moments we sometimes take for granted.
Being a Hoosier means celebrating both — the thrill of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing and the quiet gratitude for those who made it possible.
This May, we remember. 🇺🇸🏁
