Lotsss of feels at this sweet session. While it was a joyful day celebrating baby Cal, it was also a day this family was preparing to say goodbye to their precious 16-year-old pup. My vision got a little blurry there at the end. 🥹 What an absolute privilege it is to capture life even in the seasons filled with both the bitter and the sweet. ❤️‍🩹

Love that this couple is up for anything, even if it means running outside to the field next to my neighborhood (in subzero temps) at the end of their studio session to catch a few minutes of a snowy sunset! My fingers completely stopped working about 6 minutes in, but thankfully that's all the time we needed to grab these sweet shots. Excited to meet baby Julian before too long! 🩵
