She said yes to the wings.

For her birthday session, she wanted something angelic, soft, and a little dramatic… so we created the final image with a digital backdrop in mind.

That meant posing, lighting, direction, and mood all had to work before the editing ever started.

today is for you.

Motherhood looks different for every woman, but every story deserves to be seen, honored, and held with love.

I’m especially grateful for the many moms-to-be who trust me to capture such a fleeting, sacred season in their lives. It is never lost on me what an honor that is.

There is something incredibly powerful about photographing women at this stage of life. The confidence. The self awareness. The freedom to finally just be themselves.

I am nervous.
I do not know how to pose.
I am not sure I will look good in photos.

But something always shifts during the session.

The nerves fade.
The confidence grows.
