Big Boy 4014 / 844 Aerial Videos

My one and only drone video of the UP 4014 for its latest trip.
My schedule didn't allow me to chase the 4014 near as much as I have on previous runs.
This was shot just east of the Hermosa Tunnel as the Big Boy returned to Cheyenne.
We got there two hours early only to be greeted by lightning and heavy rain.
The rain stopped just as Big Boy was approaching Tie Siding. Unfortunately, I only had time to get the drone in the air and didn't get a chance to make practice flights. In addition the 4014 took a different track than I was expecting.
Anyway, here it is, not my best work but given the conditions it turned out OK.

Merry Christmas everyone. No snow in Denver today but other parts of the country are in a blizzard.

Thought you might enjoy this video of the Big Boy going through a blizzard in 2019.

4014 did a test run in Cheyenne today (6/5/2023).

While not photos of the 4014 or 844, thought I would post some shots of the Challenger (3985) and the 5511 on their trip to IL to be restored.
