Final spot for Keegan! River!

Some of my favorites of the session are him skipping rocks, tossing rocks... I never want my seniors (especially the guys) to feel like this was a chore. I want to chat with them, have them relaxed, have fun. Play a little. Makes for a session that shows so much of "them".

So. Senior Assassin. Last years board made senior sessions off limits for being offed. It was reeeeeally nice to not have to worry about my seniors or have moms follow us around with a floatie lol

This year sessions are on-limits- and Keegan was looking over his shoulder when he first arrived and messaging trying to figure out where his assigned assassin was. With around 1k on the line, I was all about it. I finally figured out what was going on- down to the last handful of kids left in the game and Keegan and another guy still in were working together to take down Keegan's assigned assassin (or something like that, details may be wrong).

Those final two pictures are when Keeg got the news that his assassin was taken out. So fun to have this part of senior experience as part of our session 🥳

Huge shout out to whoever cleaned this building out. Editing out the old washers and dryers from this building was a huge pain ;)

And then the new spot for Keegan! Random backlit loading dock ftw!

Also, two pieces of trivia for you- who was the last senior I photographed on this bridge? Anyone remember?

Aaaaand- name one of two things I had to edit out from behind Keegan- one from the loading dock pictures and one from the bridge pictures. ;)

Last thing- if a cute puppers comes up to us at the session- it's mandatory to give pets and lovins, just fyi. 🤗

More Keeg!

Spent the first part of the session in town- found some good classic Brookville town spots aaaaand a few new ones. It's getting harder and harder but I am trying to challenge myself to find a new spot for each senior for each session- so far, so good.

These are my tried and true- love the backlit brick and stairs aaaand that classic Indiana limestone with the cool double doors. We live in such a pretty town.

Next post will have those new spots. ;)

Speaking of seniors- suuuuuper last minute but I'm going to do some very limited cap and gown minis on Friday- yes, this Friday the 22nd lol- in the evening at the high school!!

Fingers crossed for no rain- if it does rain, I have two nights next week to use as backups!

These sessions are perfect to capture last fun moments for seniors and awesome to use for graduation invitations, full size cutouts at grad parties and just to have to commemorate this achievement.

Session are $125 but if you previously photographed a senior session with me, you get a $25 discount. (I just want to see your faces again 😉 )

Keegs!! Have loved watching this kid from elementary to now- this class in between my own two sons has been a fun one to watch in sports and life.

And this is my second Clark senior spring session and I'm with mom Holly- kinda loving the "this is exactly what he looks like just before graduation" thing.

Only a few weeks until he puts this cap and gown on for the real deal. And *this* is Keegan

Wrestling doesn’t fake anything.

The work.
The pressure.
The emotion.

It leaves:
sweat on the mat.
breath burned out of lungs.
tears, triumph, heartbreak — sometimes all in the same match.

Sharing 50 black & white images from the conference tournament champion — a small slice of a much bigger story.

I’ve got around 1,000 total images (color + B&W) from the tournament available in my gallery for wrestlers, parents, and schools who want to grab their favorites. If a purchase helps me cover a hard drive or a month of hosting, that’s a win in my book.

I’ll be shooting Sectionals on Saturday, January 31, and I can’t wait to keep telling these stories from the edge of the mat.

Spent an awesome evening with Lila in the wrestling room for one more senior session- she had a ton of ideas and we made all of them happen! I love when a senior shows up with inspo just as much as I love to get creative from my own brain- but my favorite shot is the headstand. Had so many laughs with Lila's mom and my oldest daughter spotting and catching legs lol.

Regionals for the girls team is tomorrow and I cannot wait to hear how the team does! If she places in the top 4 (which she should!) then she is on to state! Women's wrestling is not only the fastest growing *women's* high school sport but high school sport overall! FC put together an awesome team- 5 moving on to regionals!
