Happy Almost Mother's Day!

I think I just found my new favorite photo location—and it was all part of God’s plan. All day I stressed about the weather… the radar kept changing and the wind wasn’t helping, so we needed a backup plan. Thanks to a suggestion from E.G.’s coworker, we tried a local greenhouse—and it was absolutely perfect. The day turned out beautiful, too. Before every session, I pray over my camera and ask God to guide my eyes and my hands… and today, He truly showed up.

It's Graduation Month! Congrats Brooke!

I grew up as the 6th generation to live on my family's farm and have continued my love for agriculture by becoming the Montgomery County Junior Fair Coordinator. While I absolutely love it, it can become stressful. One way I relax is taking pictures as a hobby photographer. This particular session I was able to combined two of my favorite things!

Update: Kenny and I are absolutely blown away by the love, support, shares, and donations! We are truly blessed to have everyone one of your in our lives. We plan on also doing Christmas Minis in late November. I am so excited to say we are practically booked up! I have a couple people that need to let me know if the final two times work for them but after that we are filled up! Thank you everyone again. I was not expecting so much support!

We’re not giving up—because our future family is worth it.

For a long time, I’ve gone back and forth about sharing this, but it’s time. Kenny and I have spent the last five years working tirelessly toward one dream: starting our family. Kenny picks up every bit of overtime he can. I’m juggling two jobs plus photography—and still it always feels like trying to have a family is a luxury we can't afford. We don’t rely on credit cards, our cars are paid off, and aside from our home, some medical bills, and an old student loan, we’ve stayed out of debt. We are looking into grants, but even fertility loan rates are outrageous, especially if you don't know if its going to work.

We’ve worked hard, and we will keep working hard—because that’s the example we want to set for our future children.

Recently, we found a fertility doctor who finally gives us hope. We’re not at IVF yet, but even the earlier steps come with a high price tag. Still, we believe this journey is part of our path, and that God has led us here with purpose.

The support and interest in booking photos to help Kenny and me on our fertility journey has been truly overwhelming—thank you all so much! As a way to give back, I’m offering a Pay What You Can option for photo sessions, even if it’s just $5.

Photos are such a meaningful gift for families, and over the years I’ve been reminded time and time again how precious and short life can be. Everyone deserves to have memories that last a lifetime.

I tried my hardest to reach out to everyone who was interested in pictures, but was unable to get a time slot during our October sessions. If you commented on the first post, I would like you to have first pick of times.
