I had the absolute pleasure of witnessing Berry take the stage in her one-woman show, Soft Belly on opening night and I’m still in awe.

From the moment she began, she commanded the room with such presence and ease. Watching her seamlessly transition between characters was nothing short of extraordinary. Each shift felt intentional, fluid, and deeply embodied. Her voice, her movement, her storytelling—it all worked together so beautifully.

There were moments where her voice shifted to song and it pulled us in even deeper, you could feel the entire audience completely locked into every word. It wasn’t just a performance—it was an experience rooted in love, purpose and legacy.

I highly recommend getting your tickets to see Soft Belly. You will leave inspired. Visit bio for tickets.

Honored to share that I am part of “The Axe Forgets, But The Tree Remembers.”

This group exhibition is about memory.
About people who carried more than what was visible.
About strength wrapped in softness.
About dignity that history tried to overlook.

Thank you to everyone who came out on Saturday for the opening of A Long Journey Forward: And Still We Rise. You braved the elements and the sub-below temperatures to be present, and to gather in community, surrounded by stellar historical work, warmth, and shared memory. I’m deeply grateful for your presence, your support, and your belief in this journey. 🖤

The exhibit Women of Color Long Journey Forward And Still We Rise will be on view until March 28, 2026.

History remembers those who kept moving forward — even when the world didn’t make space.
I’m honored to be showing work in “And Still We Rise,” a group exhibition celebrating the women of the 6888th Postal Directory Battalion.
Thankful to contribute to this visual tribute of resilience and collective memory.

2025-09-24 NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani joined healthcare workers outside St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx on Sept. 24. Backed by SEIU Local 1199, Mamdani voiced strong support for protecting healthcare access and keeping New York City affordable for working families. ✨ Being a mother—a vessel for care and nourishment—and a photographer, which can be so physically demanding, I realized it was time to pour back into me.
I visited Grae’s Wellness and received a phenomenal massage from Tim Grae, founder and licensed massage therapist. From the moment our session began, I felt the tension ease and the stress melt away.
I left feeling lighter, uplifted, and with my cup truly filled—both figuratively and literally. This experience was such a powerful reminder that self-care is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.
Thank you, , for your gift of healing. 💛💫

Reflections in Black: A Reframing
Opened yesterday at NYU’s public galleries, spanning two locations.
This powerful exhibition brings together the work of renowned photographers, whose practices range from documentary to conceptual — and everything in between. It’s a deeply layered exploration of Black life, identity, and visual culture, reframing narratives with striking nuance and vision.
If you’re in New York, don’t miss this.
On view through December 21, 2025.

Huge congratulations to the curator and the incredible artists whose work fills these spaces with such insight, power, and beauty. Your vision, care, and creativity resonate in every frame.
