There’s something special about seeing your family grow up and seeing in front of my lens from the age of 10 up until now, a college graduate, brings a tear to my eye. A clever kid, witty and always laughing, he’s one of my favorite people on the planet. However, being damn near a foot taller than me I just can never accept. Congratulations nephew!

I’ve been hosting these monthly headshot/portrait sessions at for the past 4 months and they’ve been so much fun to do. The amazing personalities that walk thru the doors and being able to capture photos they love and will use for a long time brings me joy. So back in December I started doing these monthly portrait sessions and every month I’ve been getting some really fun people who have booked.
Back in January/February session I worked with Justin who was interested in updating his headshots as well as just getting some portraits done and we had a blast! We played with expressions, worked thru body positioning and language, and just embraced Justin being Justin.
I don’t often share client work but I want to show appreciation for the people who put their trust in me.

Been a while since I’ve shown face on my own timeline but with some new headshots/portraits I thought it only right to update y’all!
First, I’m now a Toronto resident! It’s been about a month and I’m learning a lot about the city and myself 😅. That said, is still up and running, we have evolved some of our production services and have expanded upon our education.
Second, I will be back in NYC to continue teaching at The Lighting Social and other photography related things so if you’re looking to book or have special projects you may want to propose please shoot me a DM or email me!
And lastly, Toronto, I’m bringing The Lighting Social to the 6 and I’m looking to ingrain myself into the photo community out here! If you have any references for photography communities I can connect with here or if you have an organization let’s chat!

I don’t do holiday photos but I’m always down for some well-planned, editorial style family photos and family made it very easy. Those rich brown colors were just phenomenal.
