Growing up in New York City, I always felt there was magic in the area in Times Square. With Broadway shows surrounding you, I loved feeling like something bigger than me was always going on and that anything could happen at any moment and if you were lucky you could catch a tiny slice of it. Last night, I got my slice.
Capturing a proposal for this fun and sweet family in Times Square was a remarkable moment. Hearing people cheer all around, watching a family unite in joy and love. It was pretty, pretty amazing and I’ve been looking at these pictures all day to keep riding this high. Congrats, you two! 💕

Merry Christmas from New York City! This granddaughter/grandmother shoot for my dear friend Jo was one of my favorite all year and since my reels are down and I couldn’t post the cute reel of this that I wanted to make, I thought I’d share my favorite photos from the day instead! These two have the sweetest bond and adding Christmas in the city to it was pure magic! Plus, Grandma agreed to adopt me as her grandchild at the end as I am grandparentless, so I’d say this was a pretty successful day all around. Swipe to the end to see O showing off her model moves. J&M got engaged at The Met, so it was only right that we retraced their steps (literally!) for their engagement shoot. A crisp and beautiful Friday morning in October filled with so much joy and laughter.

Fun Fact: I met J on a shoot two months prior, where we also shot at…The Met! I always say that there are two things that make a shoot most comfortable, and one is being in an environment you love. For these two, it couldn’t be more true!
