The journey of Fight Night Pics.com started a couple of years ago. A photo I took at a wedding captured the attention of one of the Senseis we trained under at the time. He invited me to photograph an amateur MMA event in NJ and it's pretty much history from there. All I knew was that I wanted to document what I thought to be an amazing journey. So I stood in the shadows, was as quiet as can be in

an venue with hundreds of people and I just watched through my lens. I took tons of behind the scenes shots but when the actual fight I was called upon to photograph took place.. I missed it. The fighter knocked out his opponent in 27 seconds and meanwhile I had not even put the camera up to my face yet. Everyone was roaring and I was still confused as to what was going on! After that I was asked to photograph events here and there and before you know it, I was booked almost every month. Two years later, I have photographed amateur and pro male and female fighters, I toured one of the largest Mixed Martial Arts organizations in our area and photographed most of their school locations. And now I am hired by some of the best promoters in the NY area to capture moments at their events. It's pretty insane. And I feel extremely grateful every day to be able to take what was once just a hobby and grow it into a full blown business. This is my journey. Come with me.

for a really long time i followed the journeys of some wildly dedicated & committed individuals. true warriors at heart. respectful, gracious, and talented people.

for many of them these nights were what they were working towards for weeks, months & years. some even their whole lives. i got to know a lot of them through captured moments and silent minutes. in that quiet i learned that no matter the outcome, their success wasnโ€™t [just] about the reward.

their success was achieved in the blood, sweat & tears they gave to get there. their success was never solo. their success came with a tribe of people who supported them from start to finish. they never went in alone. and their sacrifice was never unnoted.

they were from ALL walks of life fighting for so many different reasons. and it was in those moments, witnessing this all, that i learned more about humility, community, and perseverance than in any other experiences of my life.

i froze some of their best moments - and some of their worst - in time. moments that they can display & tell stories about for generations.

and i will forever be overwhelmingly grateful to ALL OF THEM for allowing me into such personal and intimate parts of their lives so that i could immortalize their art.

i miss them all terribly!!! FIGHT FAM!!! and i cannot wait to get ring side and cage-side again.

until then, i wanted to share some of their incredible memories and how their influence stretches beyond the ropes.
