United Photo Industries United Photo Industries is a New York based non-profit organization that works to promote a wider understanding and increase access to the art of photography.

Recognizing the difficulties faced by talented photographers in gaining exposure and recognition in today's crowded field, our goal is to create new opportunities for emerging talent to be seen and discovered. United Photo Industries have a Gallery to exhibit emerging photographers but also produce exhibition and projects outside of the white box such as PHOTOVILLE (www.photoville.com) and Photo fences.....

We are so thrilled to share the news of our organization’s name change from United Photo Industries to PHOTOVILLE.

Started 9 years ago with one crazy idea and lots of enthusiasm, The festival has always strived to build a photo-village where inspiring photographers and storytellers come together to share their work with the community, where new relationships are built, and creative thinking is on display.

Now - nearly a decade later - we still work just as hard on our core mission while commissioning more photographers than ever before while producing innovative new projects and programs to march into our next decade! Our decision to consolidate all our UPI endeavors under one giant Photoville umbrella came from our desire to make our little organization solid, efficient, and physically stronger to meet new challenges coming our way.

For those who have joined us along the way, we are humbled and honored each day to see what you bring to our photo village. For our entire community, we hope our new name clarifies and energizes! And we are excited to continue to engage, collaborate, and build...
