What can you do in Italy? 🇮🇹
✨ Besides taking thousands of pictures, you can eat Gelato all day long! 🙊 At least that’s what I do every time I have the chance to visit this beautiful country.
✨ It goes without saying that the food is absolutely delicious, so eating is not a concern.
I’d recommend you though, to check the reviews of the restaurants you are planning to eat just to make sure that you are eating authentic Italian food.
✨ Travel the country by train.
You can always rent a car and have more flexibility during your trip but I highly recommend you to use the train to travel from town to town because 1) you don’t to stress about the traffic and 2) you don’t want to miss the beautiful views of the country side.
✨ Visit the famous cities like Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan but also take some time to visit other cities outside the traditional Italian tour such as Turin, Positano, Sienna. Of course this always depends on what you want to see and experience in Italy.
- Consider that Italy gets over 94M tourists per year, then if you want to visit museums, churches, monuments etc, don’t forget to get there pretty early to avoid big crowds, especially in these times 😷
✨ Ask locals!
This is my favorite tip, most of the time locals give the best recommendations and honest opinions about what to do in the city! For instance, ask 2 or 3 locals about the best restaurant in town and if at least 2 of them recommend the same place... go there!
