Ten years go by fast. One photo found in a DM, and suddenly we’re standing in SoHo catching up like no time passed.
Liv is someone I photographed almost a decade ago… and in that time she’s lived a whole life. Lost a house in the Malibu fires. Fell into a cactus in Cabo. Turned a hospital bed into a platform. Got dropped by her agency for refusing to take down a picture. Started making movies.
“Nobody puts Baby in the box.”
I’ve heard a lot of stories on these streets. Hers is one I won’t forget.
For everyone who’s ever had to start over… this one’s for you.

I thought I had her figured out…

Colleen was moving through SoHo with intention… mirrored frames… confident stride… and someone beside her I assumed was security.

Felt like the full picture.

It wasn’t.

That wasn’t a bodyguard…
That was her husband.

Everything softened after that.

She’s from Nashville… back and forth… rooted in hospitality, but expressing herself through style.

And her foundation?

Sparkle.

Just enough to catch your eye at the right moment.

Then the boots…
A love letter to New York… taxis, icons… the city in every step.

She reminded me of Sheila E.…
quiet confidence… presence without saying much.

We talked Nashville… movement… her wanting to be here more…

And it hit me…

Some people don’t just visit New York…

They already belong.
