Save this for your Hawaii trip.

“Day 22. Diamond Head, Hawaii. The crater has been here for 300,000 years. The beach below it looks like it was placed there on purpose. Some landmarks earn their postcard status.”

The volcanic tuff cone rises 232 meters above sea level, ancient and unhurried, while the Pacific laps at the beach below. From the air the geometry of it — crater, coastline, city — tells a story about deep time that no ground-level photo ever could.

Have you been to Oahu? Send this to someone planning the Hawaii trip of a lifetime.

Tomorrow: Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco — follow so you don’t miss one.

300,000 years in the making. Save this for when you need a reminder that the earth is extraordinary. 🌋

“Day 15. Bamboo Cathedral. Nature built the arch. We just flew through it.”

Where bamboo grows so tall and so dense on both sides of the road that it forms a natural arch overhead — a living cathedral. From the air it looks like a green tunnel carved through the Northern Range. One of the most unique natural formations in the Caribbean, hiding in plain sight.

Have you ever passed through it?

Tomorrow: Carenage, Trinidad — follow so you don’t miss one.

“Day 12. Dover Beach. The south coast is where the island comes alive. From up here, you see all of it at once.”

Kite surfers, swimmers, beach bars, and this color of water that makes no sense until you see it in person. From the air it reads like a postcard someone forgot to send — except we sent it. Right here.

This is what a town looks like when you pull all the way back — the wild ridgeline on one side, rooftops and roads stitched together on the other, and a sunset that doesn’t pick sides. Panoramas like this remind us why we fly: the bigger picture is always more interesting than the close-up.

The city doesn’t sleep, but for about ninety seconds at dusk, it holds its breath. That color isn’t a filter — it’s just what happens when the sun gives up and the lights take over. Manhattan on one side, the bridge carrying the city’s pulse between boroughs, and a sky that looked like this for less time than it took to get the shot lined up.

Water from above is hypnotic. Whether it’s a coastline, a lake, or a river bend — it always tells a story. The movement, the color, the contrast with land. This shot lives rent-free in our heads.

Large format prints available. DM for sizing options.

From the ground, a field is just a field. From up here, it’s lines, contour, rhythm — proof that even the most ordinary places have something worth slowing down for. This is one of those shots we keep coming back to.

Some shots don’t need a story — they just need altitude. No people, no edits, just the land doing what it does best when nobody’s looking. We don’t get tired of finding these.

Available as a print. Linkage.

Most people put the drone away at dusk. We don’t. Twilight from altitude is a completely different scene — the sky dims, the earth holds its last light, and everything goes quiet. These shots are rare. Prints are limited.

Limited run. Once they'r’ gone, they are gone.
