In celebration of pride month, I did a collab with the stunning ! A local drag superstar I recently met and admire. Drag is the most spectacular form of performance art that I can never get enough of. It’s more than just “dressing up” - it’s everything. It’s lip syncing all the right words, maintaining elegance and composure, bringing a crowd to their feet screaming every word, and then landing a death drop. It’s collecting fashion and statements that create an entire character that brings the whole performance to life. This is a lifestyle and a career that allows for others to explore their own ideas of creativity and joy. At least that’s what it does for me. I see drag as inspiring, boundary less - never let others tell you what you can and can’t do.
