Through My View Photography

Through My View Photography Memories and moments in time is what I try to capture, places, pets, and people. I get where I can, enjoy every minute of it

Being a disabled photographer with MS has been a challenge, so many places I'd love to photograph but my legs can't get me there. I'm a novice photographer and editor, learning something new everyday. My passion has always been taking pictures of rescue dogs & cats, and has spread across to many other subjects as you will see. Being disabled has big challenges sometimes to get the shot I'm looking

for, or places I can manage to get to, but giving up is not in my DNA. I hope this will inspire someone else to follow what they are passionate about. It's a beautiful world through the eyes of a innocent animal, if only humans could have the heart & mindset of them, it would be a better world.

I had the honor to do the pictures for this statue , a bronze casting of the Spirit of Ecstasy sculpture created by Charles Sykes for use as the Rolls-Royce mascot.
This Spirit of Ecstasy statue measures approximately 67″ tall with a 36″-wide wingspan and stands on a marble plinth.
They fetched a nice price at auction for her. So happy to be a small part of it.
I expanded my photography to do something out of my element, enjoying every minute to step out of my comfort zone.
I wanted to wait till she sold before posting a few of her pictures.

One of my favorite things to do was photograph shelter/rescue dogs & puppies. Their faces spoke a silent story of longing for a home and family to call their own.
This sweet guy found his home...who doesn't love happy new beginnings🐾

This was a exciting day for me for a few reasons. 1st off it was a very low tide, 2ndly is this was the first time in almost 2 yrs I've been physically able to get down on the beach by myself,(I hate asking for help) 2 walking sticks, a camera pack strapped on my back. Sounds easy right? For me, it has been a big challenge due to secondary progression MS (Multiple Sclerosis) legs that won't work right, balance that is off,(camera pack weight felt so heavy) fatigue that stops you in your tracks, muscle that want to spasm and then tighten up. Basically a body that is short circuiting and not doing what I want or think I can do. SO ,I will enjoy this day replaying it in my mind and pictures to prove to myself I was there and it almost felt like a normal day. It makes you appreciate life on days like this.
