I'm a Toronto-based photographer from Atlanta, Georgia learning to appreciate Canadian winters. My passion for photography began during a summer spent in the Czech Republic, when I was stunned by the beauty of Prague and the Charles Bridge. I not only wanted to capture everything that I saw, but desperately wanted to remember how I felt, standing on the yellow bricks and marvelling at the centurie

s-old building silhouettes towering in front, the dark waters below, and statues lining the bridge that had watched over the bridge's travellers for the last 300+ years. There was a sense of mystery and deep nostalgia that overwhelmed me, and my Canon Powershot was all I had to capture all of these feelings and majestic views. A few nights later, a fatal loss of grip left me with no camera at all, and I decided to take the leap and replace it with my first DSLR: a Canon T2i Rebel. Since that fateful purchase, I strived to capture the essence of my favorite parts of life with it: exciting events, nature, and, of course, the incredible people I have the fortune to be around. I found an incredible joy in taking pictures of my friends, not only to document their beauty, but also their unique quirks, positive vibes, and incredible strength! I've since graduated to a Canon EOS 6D, and the joy has only grown exponentially. Besides photography, I am a student at the University of Toronto pursuing my Doctorate in Musical Performance as a violinist. I also am a serious composer and like to work with classical and electronic music. You can learn more about my musical adventures at:

Two awesome, talented, funny and insightful people I had to pleasure of shooting in the past couple of weeks! Kevin is one of Atlanta Symphony Orchestra's newest violinists, and Mary Beth is not only an amazing cellist but also one of the most flexible yogis I know 💪

A couple weeks ago, I had the pleasure of shooting the wonderful Erin Pitts, an amazing violist with too many accolades and achievements to list. I was super excited about doing more photoshoots again before covid-19 hit, and I'm glad we found a way to do one safely outdoors with social distancing and masks on (for me at all times, for Erin any time we weren't shooting). Thanks Erin for being my first Atlanta shoot! If anyone needs headshots and would be interested in an outdoor shoot, I'm around and can help 😊

Norway! The place we got to know the best. This country has preserved so much of its natural beauty, and the people live in harmony with it. There are so many more beautiful places to explore in Norway; hoping to get the chance once day!

The summer before our big European adventure, we spent 17 weeks cruising Alaska. Don’t get me wrong: Alaska is beautiful beyond words - but even glaciers, snow-capped mountains, musher sled dog puppies, and bald eagles diving for dinner can get repetitive after 17 weeks. So when we arrived in Norw

A product of boredom, nostalgia, and procrastination: I took more than 2500 pictures last year during 4.5 month-long travels that took me all over Europe. I've posted many of these photos on my personal Facebook, but I thought I'd share some of the context behind our adventures in each city/country. Before COVID-19 hit, I was scheduled to be in Sweden today and I thought it might be fun instead to travel virtually and vicariously through the summer of 2019!

If you're also bored, nostalgic, and procrastinating, feel free to have a read. I'll be posting about as many of the destinations as I can over time!

A picture is worth a thousand words… …and a plane ticket to Europe. In the last few months as I settled into a new home in Atlanta, GA, I’ve often looked nostalgically at the thousands of photos I took during a 4.5 month-long cruise contract this past summer. The turquoise waters of the Medite...

After 93 shoots, two and a half years of shooting in Toronto has come to a close. I got to spend my last day shooting with these four beautiful ladies who had me smiling and laughing all day long. Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their headshots; I couldn't have asked for more inspiring, fun and creative clients. Hoping this is just a brief good-bye for now!

This beautiful violinist's recital is this Tuesday in Mazzoleni Hall at 8 PM and everyone who's free should go and support! Here's a little bit more about Ah Young Kim.

Meet cellist Dr. Bryan Holt!

Known for his artistic versatility, Bryan Holt has performed throughout North America and abroad in numerous concert halls and alternative venues. Holt has appeared with many of the leading ensembles in the city including Continuum Contemporary Music, Art of Time Ensemble and Soundstreams. He also occasionally appears in the cello sections of the Canadian Opera Company Orchestra, National Ballet of Canada Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and many other professional orchestras and ensembles. Holt is one half of VC2 Cello Duo (www.vc2celloduo.com). The pair strongly believe in the support and creation of new works by living composers, especially those from their home country of Canada. The duo’s first album “Beethoven’s Cellists” features five new works by Canadian composers based on the five Beethoven Cello Sonatas. He recently completed a DMA in Cello Performance at the University of Toronto researching distance learning strategies for the transmission of modern cello pedagogy.
