Another sweet session posted on The Journal! Every time I photograph a family’s first baby, I just explode with joy watching their love and connection. I wish I could bottle up all the feelings of “firsts” for them… I guess photographs is the next best thing. 🥰

Jackson was born with three congenital heart defects and is a heart warrior that has undergone some lifesaving surgeries. His story is on The Journal now! Check the link in my bio. 🥰

One day, your baby won’t be this small — the wires and monitors will be gone, the hospital stays just memories. But your heart warrior, the one who faced surgery after surgery and still found a way to smile, will grow up surrounded by proof of just how strong he’s always been.

Print the photos. The ones with the tubes. The scars. The brave smiles. The quiet victories. Let him grow up seeing the proof of his strength on the walls and in albums — reminders that from the very beginning, he was a fighter, deeply loved, and never alone.

Digital files can be lost, but these moments deserve more. Print them. Hold them. Cherish the story that only he could live. Because these moments — these victories — deserve to be held, seen, and never forgotten.
