Some sort of tree/shrub along Mountain Fork river, on black and white film. I say some sort because Google couldn't figure out what it was exactly ( three searches, three different results, none of which looked like this plant ). All I know is it stood out amongst all the other plants, which all turn nearly the same shade of green by this time of year. I used my view camera, which took a lot more patience than I used to have to get set up and focused, but I guess I'm getting old, because I stuck with it. :)

I have no idea ( exactly ) where I was at when I took this, but I'm sure it was on a back road in NM, Texas, or Oklahoma...

I have no idea ( exactly ) where I was at when I took this, but I'm sure it was on a back road in NM, Texas, or Oklahoma. :) Note-taking is not my strength. Taken on 35mm film ( Kodak Portra 400 ).

You may look at this and wonder why it looks like a photo from the 1800's... I took it last Sunday evening, after the weather broke and I needed my usual walk along Mountain Fork river. I used an old camera, some black and white film, and hoped for the best, as is my usual technique. :)
