My older kids are on the school bus.

The baby is independently playing and listening to baby worship music.

And I’m on my 2nd cup of Texas Pecan coffee backing up another wedding.

When I first picked up a camera, I had no idea how much of this job happened behind the lens.

The emails. The social media. The marketing. The planning. The countless hours of editing after everyone else has gone to bed.

People often think photographers just show up, take beautiful photos, and head home. I wish it were that simple. ❤️

As a mom, this job can be hard. There are days my kids are asking me to play while I’m sitting in front of a computer editing galleries. There are weekends I’m capturing someone else’s love story while my son is giving his all on the football field, and I have to miss it. Those are the moments that tug at my heart the most.

Please don’t get me wrong—I absolutely love what I do. I love preserving memories, telling stories, and giving families something they’ll cherish forever. It’s an incredible privilege, and I wouldn’t trade it.

But I also wanted to share a little of the reality behind this business. Behind every gallery delivered is someone balancing deadlines, family, and the desire to give every client their very best.

So if you ever wonder why editing takes time or why I may answer emails late at night, it’s because I’m doing my best to be both the photographer my clients deserve and the mom my kids deserve.

Thank you for supporting my small business, giving me the opportunity to do what I love, and allowing me to provide for my family. It truly means more than you’ll ever know. 🤍

My kids are moving to a small district this year and my 5th grader is going into a whole new building for them.

With new building means starting fresh in the Teacher’s Lounge. They made a Wish List and I’m hoping by sharing it we can knock it all off before school starts.

As a business I’ll be getting lots of cases of water from Costco for them. ❤️

To make photography more affordable I’ve added Affirm & Klarna payments to be accepted.

When booking I will send you an invoice for the services and you can select different ways to pay.

I’ve always allowed wedding to Pay in separate payments but now this makes all sessions more affordable.
