A year ago today I took the hardest photos I’ve ever had to take. And without question, the most important.

This day we met our beautiful nephew, Warren Angelo Serafini.

With my camera in my hand, I captured a room full of love but also shattered hearts while my own heart was breaking behind the camera. We knew that today was the day that Warren would go to meet Jesus and realized how unfair this life on earth truly is.

With a room so silent, my DSLR camera shutter sounded even more loud than usual. Every shot echoed making it feel like a rude intrusion in these sensitive moments. Many times of just wanting to put away my camera, I reminded myself that these photos will be what they have left to hold on to.

Photography is often about capturing joyful milestones, but sometimes it becomes preserving love in the middle of unimaginable loss. These are the photos no person or parent wants to need, yet they become some of the most treasured

In Warren’s brief life here on earth, he has taught us more lessons than some of us learn in a lifetime. But just to name a few.

1. Life here on Earth is truly unfair
2. Who you choose to walk through life with matters. Watching my sister in law and her husband endure the deepest heartbreak imaginable while continuing to show selfless love to each other was one of the most beautiful displays of love to witness.
3. God will carry you through your pain if you let him. The clear signs and callings God has given us throughout this past year proves that God and Warren both are with us always.

In honor of Warren, I am officially introducing The Warren Collection.

This free memorial photography service is here to be there and honor your loved ones and their legacy at no expense to you. Rarely do we think of documenting goodbyes because when we are going through unimaginable loss, we are just trying to survive going through it.

This service is offered to families are or will be experiencing the loss of a baby, child, or loved one who wish to have professional photographs that honor a life deeply loved. These sessions are approached with compassion, patience, and the utmost respect, allowing families the space to grieve while quietly documenting the love that surrounds them.

There is no posing for perfection or pressure to smile. Instead, the focus is on connection

As a photographer, I understand that these photographs may feel impossible to think about in the moment. But in time, they often become some of a family’s most treasured possessions. They serve as a reminder that their loved one was here, was deeply loved, and will never be forgotten.

A year later, these photographs have become reminders of his tiny fingers and how they were held. A reminder of the overwhelming love that filled his room and the love that continues for him every single day.

Please pray for my sister in law and her husband as they navigate the grief that today brings.
We love and miss you beyond words, Warren.

Dear current & future clients,

Thank you all so much for your patience with me as I finish your galleries and message you back for booking ❤️ I am so glad you are here and wanting to book! 🥹

This is the first year of being consistently busy and I am SOOO THANKFUL! But that also means my current set up for editing, storage, and deliveries are no longer keeping up with my timeline. Also add in there that I am at stay at home mom to two kids age 3 and 1 🤪.

I am doing my best to maintain my sanity and ensure your photos are edited to the best quality and delivered within a reasonable time. I plan to have almost all of my galleries if not all completed and delivered before I leave for vacation on Saturday.

With my new found friendship with Corie's Captures Photography, she has officially influenced me on how much easier my life will be with better software and editing programs. I will be hopefully investing in those before fall minis start 🤭

Thank you everyone again for your patience and business! I truly appreciate you all more than you know 💛
