From Miss to Mrs. 🤍

I’ve been waiting so patiently to finally share these… and honestly, I couldn’t help but overshare because just look at her! 😍

Elizabeth traveled all the way from South Carolina for these portraits, and tucked away in Basye is a little family church that holds so much meaning for her and her family. When she told me she wanted her bridal portraits to take place there, I knew this session was going to be something special.

And the sentimental details made it even more beautiful. Her dress was handmade by her best friend, and her veil was her mother’s — pieces of her story, her friendships, and her family woven into her wedding day. 🤍 Her sister even tagged along for this special trip, making the evening that much more meaningful.

She found me thanks to all of your sweet reviews and recommendations online (seriously, you guys are the BEST 🥹), and on a rainy, completely unpredictable July evening, we met up to bring her magical, vintage-classic vision to life.

From the beautiful old church to her timeless gown, every little detail felt like it belonged in another era. And somehow, despite the rain and all the unpredictability that evening, everything came together perfectly. ✨

Elizabeth, thank you for trusting me to capture such a special chapter of your story, and for traveling all the way to Virginia to make these memories happen. It was truly an honor.

If you’re a boy mom, you already know family photos are basically just organized chaos. 😂

Between reminding them to stop putting WWE moves on each other, begging them not to get their clothes dirty, and trying to get everyone looking at the camera… there’s always something going on. 😂 But honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Because mixed in with all the chaos are the goofy smiles, silly faces, big personalities, and those little moments that make a family them. 🤍

I’ve known the VanOrden family for a few years now, but this was my first time getting to capture their sweet family in front of my camera, and I’m so glad I finally got the chance.

Here’s to hopefully many more memories, laughs, and family photos together in the future. 🤍📸

Velasco Family ✨

Anel and her family are officially returning clients, and I just love that. 🥹🤍

She has two boys, although one prefers to keep his photos off the internet 😂. But both of those boys LOVE their momma and are always more than willing to hop in a photo with her.

I really hope they never grow out of that. 🥹 There’s just something so sweet about boys who love their momma enough to take all the pictures with her.

So thankful this family keeps coming back to me and lets me capture these little seasons for them. 🤍
