In 10 days time, at 8 am on October 17th, Zac Deel will be leaving Bristol, Tennessee to run over 2,295 miles to Los Angeles, California.

Zac and his wife Brittany have built this cart to hold everything he will need for his unsupported cross-country adventure, which holds everything from food and water to camping gear.

When asked why in the world he would do something like this, he says "I'm doing this for my family, to show them that you can do hard things".

As long as everything goes well, Zac will be running into Los Angeles on Christmas Eve to meet his family just in time for Christmas.

You can follow his adventures on his page and his tiktok

Come out and help send him off at the Bristol train station at 7:30am on Oct 17th!
