Yesterday morning I was watching my kids play fight, maybe a little to harsh, but embracing each other… It made me think of all the tiny moments we try to freeze before they slip past us.

Thank you for letting me step into your homes and your lives to catch those little flashes of love for you. I am grateful for every family who has trusted me with their memories.and some of you have become friends ❤️

May always feels like the calm before the summer rush here in Shelby Township. Tulips are blooming, spring sports are wrapping up, and the countdown to summer break has officially begun. It’s a month full of gratitude—Mother’s Day on the 11th, plus Teacher and Nurse Appreciation Week. It’s a great time to celebrate the people who keep our families and our community going strong.

May is also Mental Health Awareness Month, which makes it a perfect time to slow down and check in—with ourselves and each other. Whether it’s a walk in the park, journaling, or just reaching out to a friend, those small moments can make a big impact.

We’ll close the month with Memorial Day, a time to reflect, connect, and enjoy the start of summer—backyard BBQs, longer evenings, and all the little joys this season brings.

This season is beautiful and wild, and it will be gone before you know it. So, let’s capture not just the elegance but the little moments in between. Because one day, you will miss this, yes, even the midnight snack cravings.

The tiniest love, already running the show.

This little bundle of joy was almost two months old when we took these photos, all wrapped up and cozy with her biggest fans, her siblings.

She has no idea yet, but she is officially the boss. Big sister is already in protective mode, her brothers are probably brainstorming the best ways to make her giggle, and let’s be honest… she has everyone wrapped around her tiny little finger.

One day, she will look back at these photos and see just how loved she was before she even knew what love was. But for now? She is just here to nap, be adored, and occasionally remind everyone who is really in charge.

Because some moments deserve more than just a spot in the camera roll.💗

This was over six months ago?! How did that happen?

That is what I kept thinking as I looked back at this maternity session, back when it was just the three of them (sweet big sister is not in the picture here), back when they were still wondering what life would be like with two tiny humans in their arms.

Now? That tiny human is rolling over, babbling, and probably drooling on everything in sight. And just like that, life before them feels like a blur.

This is why I love looking back at maternity photos: pregnancy feels like forever while you are in it, but the moment that baby arrives, it is hard to believe there was ever a time before them.

Hold onto the moments, even the ones that feel like they will last forever, because they don’t. 💛
