March has been… tough. Earlier this month, we said goodbye to my grandpa— a man who loved his family, loved his fishing, and loved his icecream. He did not love having his photo taken, but never complained when I asked to photograph him.

I’ve received more emails than I’d like to count that say, “unfortunately we lost ____ shortly after our wedding, can you rush edit a few pictures for us of them?”, “we’re forever grateful for the photos you took of ____, they’re some of our favorites”, or something similar. Being on this side of a deep loss and combing through my hard drives for old photos is something I haven’t experienced before now. I am so, so grateful for the beautiful photos you took of my grandpa & . I just wanted to share some of my favorites. 🤍

Meet Kai 🥹

I’ve been excited for this little guy’s debut since meeting Vipra & Nirav for their maternity session late last year. This little man absolutely aced his first photo shoot. We were able to get photos of him snoozing for most of the session— and he sprinkled in a few sleepy smiles and big yawns, too. Obsessed with the photos of this sweet sweet boy and can’t wait to share more. 🤎
